Michael Bullis, Ph.D.

Michael Bullis, Ph.D., is a nationally certified rehabilitation counselor. Before returning to the University of Oregon in 1995, he was a research associate at the University of Arkansas' Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on Deafness and the Associate Director of the Teaching Research Division of Western Oregon University. Since 1986, Michael has been awarded—and managed— 30 externally funded research and model demonstration projects, totaling more than $15 million, focusing on high-risk (those with emotional disorders or who are in the correctional system) adolescents. Michael earned his Ph.D. from the University of Oregon in 1983 in special education and rehabilitation, specializing in research methods.
