James Gilliam, Ph.D.

James E. Gilliam, Ph.D., is an associate professor at the University of Texas at Austin. He has written numerous journal articles and tests, most recently a rating scale for predicting students’ success in general education environments. In addition to his teaching and research, he also coordinates a statewide conference on children with emotional/behavioral disorders, held each year in Austin. He serves as a consultant to several school districts and works closely with special education directors and consultants in the areas of behavioral disorders and autism.
